With eupeptic, diuretic and choleretic action, it is suitable for the treatment of constipation, in case of slowing of liver functions and in water retention. Its action, directed on the intestine (action of drainage and excretion of sedimentary substances), indirectly causes an improvement in hepato-biliary function by reducing the work of the gallbladder.

The artichoke whose drug è represented by the sheets of Cynara Scolimus, è an extremely widespread plant especially in southern Italy. Contains active ingredients such as cynaria, caffeic acid and flavonic compounds; tannins, mucilages, etc. which determine a notable pharmaco-dynamic action: choleretic, cholagogue, diuretic. Cynarin and caffeic acid are also capable of significantly reducing the level of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood.

It is recommended to take 2 capsules twice a day, preferably before meals.
