Features
The dressing is made up of the following layers (from outside to inside):

- waterproof external polyurethane film: provides a waterproof barrier against viruses and bacteria, protects the wound from external contamination and helps reduce the risk of infection.

- open cell hydrophilic polyurethane foam pad: manages exudate through vertical absorption.

???????- thin micro-perforated silicone adhesive in contact with the wound bed: it guarantees a delicate adhesion helping to maintain the right level of humidity in the interface between the wound and the dressing, facilitating the atraumatic removal of the dressing. br />
How to use
Choose a dressing of such shape and size that the central absorbent pad is larger than the area of ??the lesion. Align the center of the dressing with the center of the wound and place the center pad of the dressing directly over the wound.
The dressing should be changed when clinically indicated or when saturated with exudate; in any case no longer than 7 days of stay in situ.
Foam Lite™ can be used as a primary or secondary dressing in association with other products and can be cut to create different shapes and sizes according to the healthcare professional's instructions.
