ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive 15 x 20 cm 10 Pieces

Sterile dressing with a silicone layer intended for use in very severe wounds exuding. The dressing is composed of a breathable and water-impermeable non-woven layer of polypropylene, a super-absorbent core made of layers of non-woven cellulose with sodium polyacrylate powder, a layer of breathable polypropylene fabric and, finally, a soft silicone layer in contact with the lesion. The multi-layer feature facilitates fluid management and provides an optimal moist environment for the wound promoting faster healing. The absorbent pad provides improved absorption and locks exudate away from the wound bed, minimizing the risk of maceration and damage to the periwound skin.
The ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive Dressing is indicated for the management of moderately to highly exuding, including:
-Lower limb ulcers
-Pressure ulcers
-Diabetic foot ulcers
-Dehiscences of surgical wounds.
ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive can be used both as a primary and secondary dressing.
Sterilization method: ethylene oxide.
Lattex free.

How to use
After having cleansed the wound, choose the appropriate dressing so that there is sufficient space around the edge of the wound. The ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive Dressing can be used as both a primary and secondary dressing. As a primary dressing, it must be in close contact with the wound bed to ensure fluid absorption. The white surface must be in contact with the skin while the blue waterproof part must remain away from the body. Although the ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive Dressing is inherently adhesive, additional support from a medium to moderate compression dressing or compression bandage may be required. The frequency with which the dressing needs to be changed depends on the amount of exudate. Removal of the dressing can be facilitated by moistening it with saline solution. Dispose of as hospital waste. If contaminated, follow local regulations.
Maximum time left in situ: 7 days.

Warnings
Do not use on lesions with arterial bleeding and highly bleeding lesions.

Storage
Store the product in a cool, dry place and avoid light.
