ChondrotideTM È a new medical device for intra-articular use based on polynucleotides.
È consisting of a syringe containing 2 ml of 2% polynucleotide gel (20 mg / ml) and È designed to be injected into the joints for the treatment of osteoarthritis and other degenerative joint diseases (DJD).
ChondrotideTM È equipped with two properties; main:
1. Activities symptomatic protection: considerably increases viscosity; of the synovial fluid, reducing pain and protecting the articular cartilage from mechanical friction.
2. Activities long-term reparative: creates an articular microenvironment rich in nucleotides and nucleosides, conducive to a high production of hyaline-type extracellular matrix by chondroblasts and chondrocytes.
