CAPICOR PLUS gastro-protected tablets is a food supplement based on phytosterols, with fermented red rice (titrated in monascin and ankaflavin), policosanols.
Plant sterols contribute to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood.
This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 0.8 g of plant sterols.< /p>

Ingredients
Bulking agents: dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, magnesium carbonate; phytosterols; Ankascin 568-P® (red rice fermented with Monascus purpureus); policosanols; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids; external coating (coating agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, talc, shellac, polyethylene glycol; dyes: calcium carbonate, iron oxides and hydroxides).

Properties of the individual components
Sterols
Sterols are substances that are structurally similar to cholesterol but derive from the plant world. They are found mainly in the unsaponifiable fraction of vegetable oils and in general in foods rich in fat, such as dried fruit and also in vegetables such as cauliflower or broccoli. Thanks to their chemical structure they compete at the intestinal level in the absorption of cholesterol. In fact, it has been shown that the daily intake of 800 mg of plant sterols contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood
Policosanols
Policosanols are natural substances present in various vegetable waxes and are made up of a mixture of long-chain linear aliphatic alcohols. They have numerous beneficial properties for our body and are very often used in association with natural ingredients such as plant sterols and fermented red rice.
Red fermented rice
Ankascin 568-P® is a patent for red fermented rice with monascus purpureus standardized in the active molecules of the phytocomplex Ankaflavin (AK) and Monascin.

How to use
We recommend taking two tablets a day with a glass of water.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under the age of 3 years.
Food supplements are not intended as substitutes for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
The product is intended exclusively for people who need to control blood cholesterol levels.
Patients following cholesterol-lowering treatment must consume the product only under medical supervision.
Do not use the product during pregnancy, during breastfeeding, in children under 18 years of age or in adults over 70 years of age.
Its intake should be included as part of a varied and balanced diet, which involves the regular consumption of fruit and vegetables so as to help maintain carotenoid levels; Consumption of more than 3 g/day of added plant sterols/plant stanols should be avoided.
Monacolin total <3 mg/day.
Do not use the product if you are being treated with cholesterol-lowering or lipid-lowering drugs or if you are taking other products containing red yeast rice. Do not consume a daily quantity equal to or greater than 3 mg of monacolin from red yeast rice.
