Aquacel Extra Hydrofiber Dressing With Reinforcing Fiber

Sterile dressing in Hydrofiber® Technology composed of sodium carboxymethylcellulose (NaCMC ) pure in gelling fibers enriched with reinforcing fibers in medical Lyocell.

Thanks to Hydrofiber® technology, this highly absorbent and conformable dressing vertically absorbs the exudate of the wound, instantly forming a soft gel that retains the fluids absorbed, maintains the optimal moist environment, conforms perfectly to the wound bed and makes removal of the dressing atraumatic.

Thanks to the medical Lyocell fibers and the addition of two external layers that make it 9 times more resistant and 39% more absorbent than the original AQUACEL™  dressing, AQUACEL™ Extra™ allows the optimal management of any level of exudate in flat and cavity wounds, reducing the risk of maceration of the periwound skin  and guaranteeing greater resistance, greater absorption and fewer dressing changes.
