The protein base is composed of Volactive® whey proteins isolated using the cross-flow microfiltration method. This particular extraction process, at low temperature and low pressure, preserves and does not denature the protein and amino acid structure of the product.

Quantum 10.4 Revolt contains a combination of Arginine, Histidine and beta-Alanine, precursor of Carnosine, a dipeptide found in large quantities in muscles.

Arginine is an insulinogenic amino acid, that is, it stimulates the pancreas to produce insulin which is part of the vasodilation process together with the synthesis of nitric oxide resulting in an increase in blood flow to the muscles.

Histidine and beta-Alanine are converted by the body into the dipeptide Carnosine within the muscles. The latter is present to a large extent in muscle tissue and plays a fundamental role in the homeostasis of cellular pH, promoting the correct functioning of the fibres. The primary role of Carnosine at a muscular level is, in fact, to eliminate the hydrogen ions produced during glycolysis which normally lead to an accumulation of lactic acid, thus delaying the appearance of localized pain that accompanies the most intense and It also improves recovery speed, healing times and muscle capacity.
