Alus Sapone di Aleppo

Alus is the new line dedicated to Aleppo soap, a natural detergent with millenary origins .
It is handcrafted, according to the ancient original recipe, in the city from which it takes its name, through a long process of manufacturing and drying.
It is composed of olive oil and bay leaves in a variable percentage and is dried for at least 36 months, hence the characteristic color, an indicator of the quality and originality of the product.
The processing begins every year in November, with the harvest of the olives and the production of the oil which is cooked over a low heat.
When cooked, laurel oil is added in different percentages.
Once solidification has taken place, the soap is cut into characteristic blocks which are stamped and stacked to allow them to dry.
The characteristic color is given precisely by the natural oxidation of the soap, which preserves its quality and particular smell, making it a unique product in the world.
