2 PIECE COLOSTOMY SYSTEM

Alterna two-piece colostomy is a system indicated in the collection of stomal excrements. This is a medical device in accordance with directive 93/42 / EEC.
The bag is; closed bottom.
The bag is; available in both transparent and opaque (flesh-colored) versions with the back in non-woven fabric.
The bag is; available in two different sizes: midi and maxi.
The range is; complemented by both opaque and transparent pediatric bags.
The bag is; equipped with a rectangular anti-odour filter (2x1 cm), positioned inside the bag itself (in the upper rear part), for the elimination of gases. This filter is protected from inactivation by two membranes.
The bag is; equipped with a special hooking ring with safety closure for application on the flange of the bag.

Composition
The bag is; composed of a quadruple layer of polyethylene - ethyl vinyl acetate - polyvinyl dichloride - ethyvinyl acetate.
The back of non-woven fabric is; polyester.
The filter is; with activated carbon, covered with a membrane more; semi-permeable inner lining (permeable to gases but not to moisture and faeces) of polypropylene and a more rigid membrane; external horseshoe shape, for further protection, of high density polyethylene; and ethyl vinyl acetate.
The engagement ring is; in low density polyethylene.
The safety closure is; in polypropylene.
