Wholemeal Durum Wheat Couscous

Alce Nero organic whole durum wheat couscous is produced exclusively with 100% durum wheat Italian, grown by our farmers. Couscous is a typical food of North Africa, made up of grains of durum wheat semolina. The production process of Alce Nero couscous retraces the traditional stages of the preparation of this product, inspired by how Maghrebi women originally made it at home. It is in fact a mixture of semolina and water, which is then steamed and finally dried with hot air. Alce Nero organic whole durum wheat couscous is naturally rich in fiber.

It is ready in 5 minutes and is ideal if served with stewed meat, boiled vegetables and fish, as in North African tradition.
