Glycerol FU

Glycerin thanks to its hygroscopicity; has the capacity; to moisturize the skin, for this reason it becomes part of numerous preparations for cosmetic use: creams, soaps, jellies, oils. It has an antiseptic action thanks to the capacity; to dehydrate the bacteria. It is considered an excellent solvent with properties; stabilizers and preservatives. Administered rectally it has a laxative action thanks to its capacity; to directly irritate smooth muscles; makes the stool soft and lubricates its transit. Activity formulations; laxative, containing glycerin, are mainly suppositories, microclimates and enemas. Taken orally it is; useful both as a laxative and to decrease intraocular pressure thanks to its capacity; to increase the osmotic pressure of the blood.
