Flex Night Plus thermometer

Clinical rectal and oral thermometer capable of detecting temperature in just 10 sec.
The flexible tip offers high comfort during temperature detection.
The large luminous display and the silent mode allow you to view the temperature even at night without wake up the child.

The thermometer and its probe can be cleaned using a cotton swab soaked in alcohol or disinfectant solutions:

• The probe is waterproof .
• The instrument is not waterproof, so do not immerse it or allow water or other liquids to enter.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents or benzene: these could damage or contaminate the thermometer casing.

How to use
1. Turn on the thermometer by pressing the ON / OFF button
2. The following messages will appear in order on the display: 'Last measurement' (e.g. 36.0CM / 96.8FM) 'LoC / LoF' with C / F flashing to indicate the start of measurement;
3. Place the thermometer:

• Oral use (10 sec.): Place the tip of the probe in the lower part of the mouth, under the tongue and close the mouth.
• Rectal use (10 sec.): Insert the tip of the probe into the rectum for a few mm (no more than 15 mm).
  To measure the temperature of the newborn rectally, lay him down on a rigid surface on one side and move the legs towards the chest holding it still so that it cannot turn during the measurement.
  Remember that the internal body temperature is always slightly higher than the external one (about 0.5C).
• Underarm Use: If an underarm measurement is necessary, first of all make sure that the underarm is dry.
  Next, place the tip of the switched off thermometer and squeeze your arm against your body in this position for approximately 60 seconds before taking the measurement.

4. An acoustic signal warns of successful detection.
5. After detection, turn off the thermometer by pressing the button (if it is forgotten on, it turns off by itself after about 10 minutes).
